Road Safety week:

Observance of 30th National Road Safety Week 2019

4th – 10th Feb 2019

The central and the state Government have been implementing various measures to make our roads safer.  But the magnitude and gravity of the problem is such that these above will not suffice.  There is a need for the society at large to take congruence of the issue and to join hand to make road safety a social movement.

The theme of this year is “Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha”.

Different activities by the students like Essay writing, Slogan writing, Poster making, Wall painting, speech in Tamil, English and Hindi languages, Debate in English, also street play in Hindi was enacted.  An activity by the Transport Department of the school is an added attraction.

The RTO officials participated on the closing ceremony day and rewarded the students with mementos.

Volunteers for the 33rd Annual day celebrations:

The Annual day celebrations in our school is a grand affair that is conducted on three days and requires months of toil and efforts of the trainers, teachers, participants and volunteers.

The success of any occasion banks on not only the performances on stage, but to a great extent on the unsung service of those who sweat it out backstage. The brigade of volunteers for the annual day was apprised of their respective duties. There were separate volunteers for each day assigned various tasks like serving refreshments to the dignitaries and students, assisting with costumes and makeup of the participants, guiding parents to the venue, co- ordinating the prize distribution etc.

Each day the volunteers reported at the scheduled time and executed their duties to perfection. They rendered their ‘SEWA ‘ to their alma mater with noteworthy diligence.
