JUNIOR SUPER KING ROARS AT THE YORKSHIRE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET TOURANMENT

Arjun P Murthy of class 12-H won the Man of the Series award at the second edition of the Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket Academy Under-17 tournament held at the Ampleforth College in North Yorkshire. (United Kingdom).The four teams that participated include HDS Academy(Brisbane ,Australia), California Cricket Academy(California, USA),Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket Academy (Yorkshire, England) and Junior Super Kings(Tamil Nadu, India). He, along with his team-Junior Super Kings, won the finals of   the series against California Cricket Academy(USA)with a margin of 201 runs under the guidance of their coach Mr S Sharath (Former Indian Batsman).

Arjun had scored a whopping 636 runs in 6 T20s and 3 one dayers at a staggering average of 127.2 with one 100 and five 50’s. He was appreciated for his batting strokes by Mr Ambati Rayudu(Indian Batsman) who mentored the Junior Super Kings team during the tournament.
